I need some economical binoculars to watch the stars. I
got ones that are 25mm 12x the brand is tasco. I don't know if these are good or if 50mm ones are much better.

Do you live in a city or in the country? I usualy can get by with 7X magnification. Keep in mind that binoculars have limits as to what they let you see.
