Question by Chosen One: How good can these Binoculars see the moon?
Im thinking about getting Celestron SkyMaster 12-100 x 70 Binoculars but i want to know how good can it see details on the moon. I can't find any videos of it on the moon. Also i would like to know what "12-100 x 70" means. I just started looking into binoculars.
BTW no i don't want a telescope. I remember getting one when i was about 9 and it cost 100 and i got nowhere with it, it wasn't so good.

It means they magnify the image from 12 times to 100 times and the primary lens is 70mm in diameter which matters especially in low light situations. You should be able to see some pretty good detail but be really careful because it may also be enough to damage your eyes from the light. You might also consider a video camera with high optical magnification. I have seen up to 60X but i have gotten good images with 30X.
